This was recorded October 2021 as an experiment to face what is normally a rough time of year for me. Everything was done in a meditative state in complete darkness. Enjoy this journey & thanks again. Dedicated to the memory of Corey B Straight 1962-2007
Phase 1:DREAM (1-3)
The feeling of a dream in a sleep state. It's like being between 2 worlds & everything feels real but at the same time does not. It's the feeling of reality being altered. During the first week of the recording process this is the concept that came naturally.
Phase 2: Loss (4-6)
This was the hard one. Early the evening this was recorded I had a complete nervous breakdown. October is the anniversary of my fathers death & every year since has been extremely difficult. This phase represents the pain of that loss & I will most likely never fully recover. This was the thing that inspired this experiment.
Phase 3: Environment (7-9)
One way I find inspiration & escape is wandering in the woods & I am very fortunate to live in a place where I can access these environments. Unfortunately it is hard to ignore the fact that this can also be easily destroyed.
